Cargomatic is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Capacity Account Manager to join our team. As a Senior Capacity Account Manager, you will be responsible for handling all pricing requests for our customers and ensuring competitive pricing, rate cards, and RFPs.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all pricing requests for customers to ensure competitive pricing, rate cards, and RFPs
  • Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure the best pricing for our customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet those needs
  • Understand how drayage pricing works and use that knowledge to make informed pricing decisions
  • Utilize tech-savvy skills to analyze data using tools like Excel and Google Sheets
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Previous experience in drayage or brokerage with rate negotiation skills
  • Tech-savvy with advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large sets of data
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and processes
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the Chicago area

The expected salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
